ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Sacred symbols of Life are my subject matter. Abstracted, organic bone and leaf shapes in stone resonate natural evolutionary and metamorphic change. My sculptures communicate a strong, grounded; intimate and spiritual Life force embedded with ancient wisdom that touches our primitive and guttural instincts of survival and senses of beauty. Using a vocabulary of universally understood organic rhythms this work is a visceral and intuitive experience.
